Remember the Ladies: Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment

July 10, 2020

Bass Public Affairs is pleased to celebrate the 100th anniversary of women gaining the right to vote.  You can join the celebration by participating in our national zoom event  We are calling it Remember the Ladies.  These are famous words that Abigail Adams wrote to her husband John Adams when he was attended the Continental Congress.  It would take  another 124 years for the ladies to be remember with the 19th Amendment.

You can also record yourself reading the 19th Amendment and send it to deedee@suffragesisters.com.  It will be included in our national awareness campaign.

And finally, host a screening of the BPA produced documentary, Sisters of Suffrage: African American Women and the Right to Vote.

If you have questions, contact Dee Dee Bass Wilbon at deedee@suffragesisters.com.
